When you link your Triangle Rewards® account and your Tims RewardsTM account, you consent to CTC and Tim Hortons®, and their respective employees, agents, and service providers, handling and sharing limited personal information about you. This information may include, account and linkage identifiers, account and linking status, eligible transaction and reward earning information, timestamps, and related account administration information. This information will be handled and shared as reasonably necessary for the administration of the Linked Loyalty Benefit, and the provision of related benefits, services and rewards, including customer support, analytics to improve services, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and enforcement of the applicable terms. Each party handles personal information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

You can manage, link, or unlink your Triangle Rewards® account and your Tims RewardsTM account by logging into your Triangle Rewards® account or app or Tims RewardsTM account on the Tims App.
You may link or unlink your accounts a maximum of two (2) times within any rolling twenty-four (24) hour period. Any additional attempt(s) to link or unlink your accounts within the same twenty-four (24) hour period will be denied. You must wait until twenty-four (24) hours have elapsed from your initial link or unlink request before attempting to link or unlink again. Prior to unlinking, Linked Members4 must ensure any CT Money® earned has been processed and credited to your Triangle Rewards account. Unlinking your Triangle Rewards account and Tims Rewards accounts will not end your separate enrollment in the Triangle Rewards Program or the Tims Rewards Program. Upon unlinking, you will no longer be able to participate in the Linked Loyalty Benefit.

A customer buys a large coffee and a bagel from a participating Tim Hortons® location5 in Ontario. The Tim Hortons® Eligible Purchase Transaction3 is $4.43 (pre-tax). They scan their linked Tims RewardsTM Physical or Digital card and pay for their purchase with cash, debit or non -Triangle® Credit Card. The customer will earn a total of $0.09 in CT Money for this purchase calculated as follows:
CT Money® calculation:
$4.43 (pre-tax) x 2% = $0.09 CT Money®
Example 2:
A customer buys a large coffee and a bagel from a participating Tim Hortons® location5 in Ontario. The Tim Hortons® Eligible Purchase Transaction3 is $4.43 (pre-tax) and the total purchase is $5.00 (post tax). They scan their linked Tims RewardsTM Physical or Digital card and pay with their Triangle® credit card. They will earn a total of $0.19 CT Money® for this purchase calculated as follows:
CT Money® calculation:
$4.43 (pre-tax) x 2% = $0.09 CT Money® PLUS
$5.00 (post tax) x 2% = $0.10 CT Money®
$0.09 + $0.10 = $0.19 CT Money®
That’s 4% of the Tim Hortons® Eligible Purchase Transaction3 (i.e. $4.43), plus a bit extra (see calculation above).
Example 3 (with Excluded Items):
A customer buys a large coffee, a bagel and a Smile cookie from a participating Tim Hortons® location5 in Ontario. The Tim Hortons® Eligible Purchase Transaction3 is $4.43 (pre-tax) (the price of the Smile cookie is excluded) and the total purchase is $7.26 (post tax). They scan their linked Tims RewardsTM Physical or Digital card and pay with their Triangle® credit card. They will earn a total of $0.24 CT Money® for this purchase calculated as follows:
CT Money® calculation:
$4.43 (pre-tax) x 2% = $0.09 CT Money® (excludes the purchase price of the Smile cookie as it is an excluded item) PLUS
$7.26 (post tax) x 2% = $0.15 CT Money®
$0.09 + $0.15 = $0.24 CT Money®
